Chistmas is coming...

I read this in our local newsletter. (Its similar to this but I got rid of the booklet ^^;)

A story for a rainy day.
Santa was having a terrible day.
Four of his best elves were sick and were replaced by a few useless ones, which cut toy production down by 70%.
There was a postal strike meaning he would now have to deliver the gifts himself so he went to saddle his reindeer; only to find that three were about to give birth and the others were drunk.
To calm his nerves Santa went to his house for some rum and cider only to find that the reindeer had got at the cider and the elves had hidden the rum.
By now Santa was getting a little pissed off. Then came a knock at the door. When he opened it a tiny, bright little fairy was hovering there along with a huge christmas tree.
"Hello Santa" she said cheerfully "lovely day isn't it? I've brought you a christmas tree. where would you like me to stick it?"
And so the tradition of the fairy on top of the christmas tree was born.
